ALTUS was born from an ambition to help individuals and teams work together effectively to achieve their performance potential. Our 3 values are Ambition, Growth, Excellence.

ALTUS helps teams build integrated, high-performance environments by aligning 5 key pillars: PERFORMANCE, MEDICAL, MENTAL, NUTRITION, LEADERSHIP with elite level, evidence-based solutions.
Founded by Jamie A. Harley, with over two decades of elite level experience in Premier League and Championship football, working as a Head of Sports Science, Head of Performance, Head of Performance & Medicine, Performance Manager and Strategic Advisor.

The 5 pillars of ALTUS are all aligned with a single goal in mind - maximising performance and availability. The aim is to push the boundaries of human performance with the athletes we work with, whilst providing the foundation of athletic development, medical management, mindset training and nutrition support to operate consistently at a high level.

High-performing teams apply both high quality operations and effective leadership processes. Elite level teams face an unprecedented level of competition structures, media coverage, commercial direction and financial regulations, resulting in a clear focus on the Performance levels of both players and support staff.
Jamie A. Harley holds two post-graduate degrees focused on human performance and football leadership:
MSc Physiology - Leeds Beckett University
MSc Sports Directorship - UCFB
At ALTUS we apply the knowledge and experience of both football operations and football leadership to provide a unique framework for high-performing teams to maximise the performance of their players and support staff.
